How To Measure
Measuring for the length:
Hanging with back tabs or a rod pocket
- Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the place where you wish to see the bottom of your curtain.
Hanging with rings and hooks:
- Measure from the bottom of the rings to the place where you wish to see the bottom of your curtain.
Measuring for the width:
- Measure the door width, then multiply it by 1.5. You will get the total width you need for the door curtains.
For Thermal Door Curtains to be effective, they must be installed properly.
- Thermal Door Curtains should be installed as close to the door frame as possible. They are most effective when they drop to the floor.
Installing a cornice or valance above the drape further reduces the infiltration of air.
Caring/washing tips
- Gentle washing: Use a delicate cycle with cold water
- Air drying
- Ironing with caution: turn the curtains inside out and use low heat. Place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to prevent direct contact. Using a steamer will make it easy to relax the fabric and release wrinkles.
- Regular dusting: Use a soft brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner or a lint roller to remove dust from velvet curtains regularly
