How To Measure
- Measuring for the length:
If you have a curtain rod:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the place where you wish to see the bottom of your curtain.
If you choose a tape for the ceiling track:
Measure from the bottom of the curtain track to the place where you wish to see the bottom of your curtain - Measuring for the width:
Measure the window/door width, then multiply it by 1.5. You will get the total width you need for the curtains. - For Thermal curtains to be effective, they must be installed properly.
Thermal curtains should be installed as close to the window frame as possible. They are most effective when they drop to the windowsill or floor.
Installing a cornice or valance above the drape further reduces the infiltration of air.

Washing/caring tips
- Gentle washing: Use a delicate cycle with cold water
- Air drying
- Ironing with caution: turn the curtains inside out and use a low heat setting. Place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to prevent direct contact with the iron. Using a steamer will make it easy to relax the fabric and release wrinkles.
- Regular dusting: Use a soft brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner or a lint roller to remove dust from velvet curtains regularly
